If you are interested in my work and are thinking about using me as your photographer, I would love to meet with you in person or set up a call for a consultation. During the consultation, you have the opportunity to ask me any questions you may have. Let me know what you have in mind and what style you think would best capture your personality, if the subject is you, or the personality of the person or people being photographed. This will help to create images that show who you and/or they are. Keep in mind that I will not just be simply taking pictures, but also telling a story.
Planning the Session
After having a consultation with me, if you decide that you would like to schedule a photo session, I ask that we get together beforehand to discuss the details of your day for a Planning Session. We will discuss what your needs are, the setting, what to expect, how to prepare, and we will also go over and sign contracts.
Sessions can either be on location or in a studio setting. We will discuss the best place (or places if you would like multiple locations) for your session. We can schedule the photo shoot in the intimate setting of your own home, or somewhere outdoors like a park, the beach, or one of your favorite locations. Please consider that if you would like to do the shoot outdoors, the time of day is key in determining light quality, so your session should be held early in the morning or a couple hours before sunset for the best light.
Sessions are relaxed and is a time to be yourself or, if there are multiple people, to interact with one another. My goal is for everyone to feel free and creative, and to have fun and enjoy themselves, so that I can capture personalities, real smiles and genuine moments.
After the Session
After your images are edited, we will schedule an ordering session to review your images, and I will be there to help you every step of the way in placing your order. Everyone has different needs and we will go over your options in regards to what yours are and determine what will work best for you.
